Joule
Coming from a working-class neighborhood in Geneva, Joule began tagging walls in his neighborhood in the late 80s. At the same time, he practiced break-dancing. He naturally favored the art of graffiti and painted ever larger walls while developing his mastery of spray and his artistic universe.
In the early 1990s, his style asserted itself and Joule began to become known for his murals. This was also the time when he held his first exhibitions. Very involved in Hip Hop culture, Joule also distinguished himself as a DJ and won titles.
In 1999, during a trip to Brazil, Joule had a click and found his new goal: to paint walls in metropolises around the world. Since then, Joule has left "pieces" in cities as diverse as London, Madrid, Dubai, Casablanca, Dakar, Bogota, Medellin, Sao Paulo, Stuttgart, Bangkok and Prague.
