Natureplastique

"I always paint with a musical playlist or radio show playing in the background.

While listening to a program about the accelerated deterioration of biodiversity, a speaker said that today there was only a very limited percentage of virgin forest, that is to say, forest that had not yet been transformed by man. I then understood that the forests, the woods, the countryside in which I walked with my family to be in the heart of "nature" are not so natural as that.

Pushing the point to the extreme and being a bit provocative, I imagined a "PlasticNature", a transformed, modified nature where the tops of the trees would be laser-cut, the birds would be mutants, the flowers would be plastic, and the bushes colored with hatching."
