TAPE ART

Tape art consists of creating works using adhesive tape of different types.

This movement can be divided into two distinct techniques: duct tape art and, more recently, brown tape art: the first uses opaque canvas tape, the second plays on the transparency of tan-colored packaging tape.

It is an art that is ephemeral by nature because adhesive tapes are very poor quality materials, harmful to paper and media and will pose significant conservation problems.
