"Love3" is part of a series of Pop Art paintings that illustrate the passion of love to live without thinking about tomorrow, to live in the moment. This passion is symbolized by the play of lettering (Love by Robert Indiana) deliberately erased in the underlined couple's faces. In the cloud, we can also guess another word signifying that nothing is definitive: the word HEY! in black on a red background alerts the lovers to the need to merge without thinking about tomorrow, to the wear and tear of everyday life illustrated by the arrival of clouds of doubt...
