Indian heart

"This latest painting "Indian Heart" was created after my first visit to India. Diving into this colourful and diverse culture has left a deep impression on my mind and soul. The colourful dresses, the food with its thousand spicy scents, the architecture and the unconditional love of the people have left a huge mark on my consciousness. The summary of my travel experiences is manifested in this new work."

The choice of vibrant orange to red tones is inspired by the typical spices; red chilli and turmeric, while the heart shape symbolises the love that connects people through food.

"In the streets I witnessed an organised chaos, where traffic horns met food stalls and countless pedestrians."

This scenography is taken up here by the artist and is expressed by the tangle of letters KASER. At first glance it looks like a collision, but in reality it is the coming together of the coexistence of all styles into one.

"After so many new personal experiences during my stay in India, I wanted to change my usual approach to creating this new artwork. I wanted to use only brushes to paint this entire canvas, while incorporating different fading techniques and brush strokes. This opened up the possibilities for me to detail and layer the colours. My heart beats Indian."
