SERVAL
Since 1992, Serval has been making letters, shapes and colors dance, breathing rhythm and spontaneity into walls and canvases.
The purity of the line, the texture of the stroke and the energy of the movement that accompanies his gestures make his work easily recognizable. The technique remains at the service of the emotion and the depth created by his tints and lights.
His passion and knowledge of classical and contemporary painting have profoundly influenced his work and set him apart from other urban artists of his generation.s work and differentiates him from other urban artists of his generation.
His work as an illustrator completes the balance that Serval seeks between abstraction and narration, between emotion and mastery. An artist whose mastery of aerosol is recognized worldwide, Serval has been studying and working for several years to deepen the links between his work as a painter, his life as a dancer and the texts he writes as he narrates his works.
Resident artist of the Museum of Art and History of Geneva since 2016, he brings, through his abstractions, towards a depth of reflection and sharing that his years of university studies have guided both in the subject matter and in the accessibility, from urban spaces to gallery canvases.
